About The Bahamian Calendar

It has been a busy year for the Calendar Family! Though we have normally listed names with a thank-you we would run out of space if we tried listing everyone here, but thank you is still sincere.

You might be curious to know how our six (6) children have been using their creative energies. Anthony and Luke have been carving some of the beautiful shells we pick up, particularly the conch which we eat and make jewelry.

Nerissa and Oceanna have been making magnets and painting. Nerissa is working on the Calendar Family Cookbook (interested? Email bahcal@hotmail.com)

Anthony is doing prints and cards using art from the old calendars. Theron and Thaddeus help out in little ways when not keeping focused on their school work.

Anthony and Mattaniah get very creative in the kitchen as does Luke when meat and seafood are involved.

We have been blessed to live a unique rural lifestyle and we are always eager to share this with others. If you are planning a trip to the Bahamas consider the tranquility of an out-island, a family island, like Long Island.
